Uwah, how painful this past month or so has been for me. My "short break" mentioned in the previous update isn't exactly over yet, but work has been killing me, so I decided to update anyway. In short, I'm here updating because I'm skipping out on work (and yes, I work out of work hours too because I'm salaried, unfortunately). I don't have much, but I have been on a horrible designer's block as well (unable to design anything for work as well). Anyway, onto the actual update.

First, I know there are still lots of glitches with my CMS here. I've somewhat fixed it a bit on another site, but it's a bit too painful to bring that code over to this one since I changed up a number of variables and database tables, etc etc, so it may be a while until the CMS is at full functionality and power. I'm slow and uninspired like that. Yeap.

Second, I've received a few affiliation applications in the last two weeks (more than I expected really) and I haven't gotten around to replying to them all yet. Please have a bit more patience with me as I sort through everything for work and my own personal sites in the upcoming days (or weeks). A final decision is difficult to make, so bare with me.

Third, I've checked my exit links a few weeks ago and cleaned it out. I apologize profusely for having kept the link to a site that was, indeed, an actual porn site. That near scared me. Many thanks to Amy for pointing it out to me. Ugh, link cleaning was a pain. I found out I have 150+ links on my exit page. Amazing, no? Mmkay! All of that side, I bring you guys a shocking eighteen new icons and one new wallpaper! It doesn't sound like a lot, but the icons took me approximately three weeks and the wallpaper...well, that's a long story.

I hope you guys like the new additions! I'll be gone for another period of time since deadlines at work are quickly approaching and I've got several more projects to complete still. Hopefully, with my next update, I'll have the Customize a Premade page completed as well. I've been slacking. Welps! I suppose that's about it. Take care! Till next time!

P.S. I know I'm a bit late, but do check out the new designs at Aqua Cure, Inky Paper (which was previously Ashikiyoko), Invisus Designs and Kakyoku! I feel like I was a little too early in the layout change. ;__; Everyone discussed when to change their designs without me...

P.S.S. Apparently I forgot to mention that I forgot about Intox's second year anniversary last month. Unfortunately, my memory simply doesn't like to work. In short, happy belated second birthday to Intox! July 12th was the lucky day...a month and 12 days ago. LOL.

Thank you for the comments and criticisms, Megori. I really do appreciate them from you, and not only that, it makes me more motivated to branch out and improve even more in how I design. :)

In the past I had a somewhat foul attitude with adding extra effects/textures to my icons (as silly as that may sound). I always had a thing for simplicity, and I thought that great colorings would do the job for as long as I've been making icons. Now that you have mentioned that I should take an extra step, I too will branch out in that area and see how it works for me.

I must say, I have always been a big fan of any notebook paper touches to designs. This time I used that effect on my design. I thought that the lined paper on the content and header was rather spiffy. Maybe I could have executed it differently? As you could probably tell, I am experimenting quite a bit. Overall, I am happy that you thought that my design was nice. :)

Again, thank you. I have been lurking around Intox D for a while, but I never actually commented on your wonderful new additions lately. I really should return the favor~

The new icons are lovely. I especially like #121 and #133. Great work. The coloring on the wallpaper is very nice. I like how you blended the two characters into the background.

The icons and wallpaper look fantastic! I love the colors in the wallpaper. Cleaning out the link exchanges is a hassle (needs to remind self to do it too).
