Welcome to Here's to the Night, another purely DIV/CSS layout featuring artwork by Takarai Rihito. As you may notice, this layout was kind of inspired by the song Here's to the Night by Eve6. Perhaps the real inspiration for this design came from my little sister's friend's graduation party that I was forced to attend. High school is a very special memory for me.

Monday, July 7, 2008Well, whatever the case, this design consists mostly of purple (and perhaps pink), but there are small hints of red, blue and orange as well. Now, I'm not too sure how well that all fits together, color scheme wise, but it turned out quite nicely, in my opinion.
Somehow or another, the colors seemed to have worked out fine (and my youngest sister is in love with the color scheme). The headers are very similar to version four of IntoxDesigns but the navigation and content is just what it typically is. It still looks quite nice to me.
I think that when I first saw this image, I had originally wanted to make a wallpaper out of it. However, as I just kept staring at the image, it somehow or another reminded me of the song Here's to the Night by Eve6 and by the time I knew it, I had created a semi-plain banner with that song title as the design's title too. Amazing how inspiration comes when you're on a block.

Welcome to a sample of your blockquote. Although it's somewhat plain, I hope you enjoy it. I think this is the most purple and pink I've ever used together on one single layout to date. It somewhat scares me.
