About the Layout
Tuesday, September 22, 2009In truth, this design was supposed to be blue and green. However, my youngest sister, Sennel, was getting on my case, claiming I made too many things with blue and to try some other color. With a light laugh, I replied with, "What? Like pink?" and so, it became pink. In truth, I quite regretted my reply, as pink is something of a disaster color for me. As unbelievable as that may sound, pink and I just don't get along all that well. And that, my dear friends, is probably why it turned out a tinge more purple than pink (some could argue). Even so, I supposed it turned out decently for a pink layout. Lol.
Anyway, this design took me a while to design. As I went through my image folders, I was trying to find an image that would inspire and motivate me to design. This one was kind of cute, and I had been trying to make something from the infamous Haruka Minami so the image was picked kind of on something like a whim. After extracting it though, I was left staring at it, unsure of what I was going to do next. I'd have to say, going from not knowing what I was going to do to this, it's pretty darn good. ♥
