Since I adore-am obsessed with yaoi/shonen-ai, I couldn't but make a design featuring the-top-of-the-top yaoi manga: Ayano Yamane's Love in Viewfinder. ♥
There are actually two versions of this layout - one red and one blue - because once the red one was done I felt there was something quite unsettling with that and so I decided to make a brand new one with an almost opposite color: hence the second blue version.
Both versions did take something like 4 hours each, 'cuz I went down the road of madness and for each version I did - apart from my usual extras - the background images for: 1) the main body background; 2) the content h1; 3) the navigation hover-link; 4) the content box. Apart from that, the greatest achievement is having made this design with a...BLEND!!! n.n
Yes, I finally learned to blend images - I used blends for both this design and the Gankutsuou one - thanks to 2 wonderful tutorials from this site which are the best learn-to-blend tuts I've ever seen. :)
