I'm not too sure what my first impression was for this novel. Upon reading the summary available at Amazon.com, I was rather iffy about reading, much less, purchasing this title. The art and title intrigued me but the summary just seemed to have left a nasty after taste.
Fortunately, I was sorely mistaken. Although this story consists of quite a lot of sex, there is actually a very good storyline behind it, believe it or not. Tsukasa, our uke, is a complete and total wreck in terms of relationships. Because of that, he suffers from major lack of confidence, which seems realistic enough, in my opinion. Takeshima, our seme, on the other hand, seems awful confident and cool, very much different from Tsukasa. When the two personalities clash and misunderstandings ensue, the storyline gets very touching and funny at the same time.
At the beginning, the story focuses more so on Tsukasa and how he deals with his romances and life in general. In fact, you don't even get to know the seme's name until partway through chapter two (approximately page 48)! However, the plot only thickens from then on and surely, this book is not for those who want some measly boys' love. This story is all out, full throttle sex (with quite the explicit images) with a beautiful story.
Summary
After his boyfriend breaks up with him, Tsukasa decides to drink his sorrows away at a somewhat high class hotel bar. There, he suddenly finds himself attracted to the stranger nearby who buys him a drink. Without thinking, he follows the man upstairs to a room and does what he never expected himself to do! Enjoy anal sex. Sadly, every attempt Tsukasa makes at learning this mysterious man's name, he only gets invited to the same room again for next week. How long can such a relationship last and what'll become of the pairing outside of room 2703?

It was very tempting to slip out of bed while the man was showering, look in his suit pocket, and try to find a business card, driver's license, or cell phone that would tell Tsukasa something about him.
"I can't do that. If I knew, I wouldn't be able to hide it...I'd probably call out his name..."
He was convinced that if he broke the rules, the man wouldn't forgive him, so Tsukasa fought off the urge and stayed where he was. Besides, even if they were "normal" lovers, it wouldn't be right to peek into his wallet or peer at business cards and cell phones.
So while love for the man scorched Tsukasa's breast, he did nothing--just waited for their next tryst.
"Why do I ahve to like him so much?"
Filled with misery, Tsukasa heard the sound of the shower shutting off. Startled, he bit his lip at the thought of the man emerging. The words that would reveal his feelings were at the tip of his tongue, but he had to keep them inside somehow.
Even if the possibility of the man growing tired of him came soon, for now, if Tsukasa just played the game, the man would continue to see him.
"Just think of being with him again next week," Tsukasa reminded himself, then turned over on the bed.
